1 cup (or two sticks) of unsalted butter, room temperature

2 eggs, room temperature

2 large yolks

1 cup heavy cream

2 cups sugar

3 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

⅛ teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons ground or powdered green tea

To Make the Cupcakes:

Preheat to 325˚ F. Place 24 paper liners into cupcake trays.

Cream butter and sugar with an electric mixer until fluffy, about 3 to 5 minutes.

Add eggs and yolks, one at a time, beat until well incorporated, about 2 minutes.
